The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) is responsible for regulating and monitoring all land-based and online casinos and gambling activities of all types within the state. The Division issues licenses to casinos that meet all the required security and fairness standards after a strict application process. The DGE consists of a team of long-term professional attorneys, investigators, and accountants and is supported by New Jersey State Troopers and DCJ prosecutors. All applicants for a license from the New Jersey jurisdiction are required to pay a nonrefundable deposit of $100,000, a $250,000 renewal fee, and a $250,000 annual fee.
